    Hey there, Everybody,
We'll be leaving in a few hours for Philly. But I would be remiss if I didn't say that I went to the Barack Obama Rally at Tulane University in Louisiana this past February. It was an amazing, full house event. Senator Obama was very gracious as was the Katrina Survivor who introduced Barack. I caught this rally when I was in NOLA for Mardi Gras...and I felt very fortunate and blessed to be there. A lot of us stood in line for a few hours and it was COLD for LA that time of year. I ended up coming home with a pretty bad cold, but hey it was worth it. I hear Philly will be in the seventies tomorrow, but there are thunderstorms on the horizon...ah, well, coming from Ithaca Weather, I'm prepared for almost ANY kind of weather conditions.
Fired up, (almost) ready to go.
    Sincerely yours,
    Michelle

Michelle Berry (CD-22 Delegate) and Cynthia Henderson (Ithaca College Theatre Arts Professor) are off on Friday! We'll be driving to Philly to join some 1,000 women from across the country planning to visit this weekend to unite with thousands of Pennsylvania women! Our goal: to blanket the state and close the gap as we near the April 22nd primary. Recent polls have shown that Senator Obama is closing the gap…that’s why your help is need more now than ever before.
On Saturday, April 12, exciting kick-off rally features Caroline Kennedy starting at 8:15 a.m.. Team coordinators and PA leaders will be assigning hundreds of attendees to canvass routes so we can talk on-on-one with PA voters about why all of us believe Senator Obama is the best person to lead our country.
The rally’s pre-program will include: Actress Jessica Lange, Glenda Hatchett of the Judge Hatchett Show and Kate Michelman, former president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. After the rally, Obama staffers will host a canvass training and then assign you your canvassing itinerary for Saturday and Sunday (for those staying thru Sunday).
I'll blog at ya from PA. Namaste!

    Yours in unity for Obama,
    Michelle Berry, Obama Delegate
    CD-22 NYS
